The School of Breathing Coordination
Principles In Practice
Lynn Martin and Steven Flam announce the opening of The School of Breathing Coordination, Principles in Practice Fall, 2004 and Spring, 2005.
Mission Statement
In establishing The School of Breathing Coordination, Principles in Practice, our mission is fourfold:
- To preserve the Principles of Breathing Coordination taught to us by Carl Stough. We do this with great appreciation of Carl Stough's dedication to the development of this work during his lifetime.
- To disseminate the experience of these principles to the widest possible audience.
- To expand understanding of Breathing Coordination through further study and research.
- To create a community of students and practitioners to carry forward the teaching of Breathing Coordination.
THE SCHOOL OF BREATHING COORDINATION
PRESENTS
TRAINING FOR PRACTITIONERS IN THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE OF
BREATHING COORDINATION
2007-2008
This certificate training will present in detail the fundamental principles of Breathing Coordination, a definition of how the body is designed to breathe with maximum efficiency through minimum effort. Our work is based on the discoveries of Carl Stough, a pioneer in Respiratory Science. We will explain how these principles can be applied both to oneself and to others. Techniques for teaching and working with students will be taught and practiced.
Included in the training:
- Personal exercises to enhance your own breathing, to expand your potential for health and well-being.
- Demonstration of how this work can be applied to others.
- Practice of Breathing Coordination exercises.
- An interview with an instructor is required for entrance into the program
